DAPAT Vista (formerly known as Interactive Vista) was looking to develop a custom SMS Engine for its mibp.dapat.com (32728 SMS Short-code services) that could cater to varied customers’ needs. Indoing so, they engaged us to come up with a comprehensive Software Requirement Specifications and Software Design Document – outlining every aspect of functional, operational and technical requirements needed for the implementation of the project. We were then commissioned to design, develop and deploy the solution which includes an interactive portal and various SMS functions such as Information On Demand, Document On Demand, SMS Community, SMS Voting, SMS Contest, Enterprise Messaging and Broadcasting.

This application - dubbed the IAA Learning Management System (IAA LMS), allows the managers in Kuala Lumpur HQ to monitor daily sorties performed, students assessment and up-to-date reports.

MyMap & MyCode (Mobile Map)
MyMap signifies our foray into the mobile application development (J2ME) segment. MyMap is a Java MIDlet which contains embedded vectorized map of Kuala Lumpur City. Users are able to zoom in or out, pan the map, perform multiple searches and view detailed information on the application. MyMap pushes the application to users as a whole; which guarantees fast response time, low connection cost and availability of all functions in hand instead of at server. MyMap is 3G enabled.



An extension of the product is MyCode. MyCode allows users to create and customize their own map application to highlight whatever occasions or events. User can self manage this through a web-based system on our website with ease. MyCode’s intended users are real estate agencies, businesses, retailers and restaurants operators.

Via one of its property development subsidiaries, Mutiara Rini – Boustead Holdings has commissioned Covalent Technology to develop a GIS based reporting system to manage and monitor marketing, leasing and sales activities for its prime development project, The Curve, at Mutiara Damansara. The application integrates customized back-end engine with Autodesk MapGuide server and tools. It features a graphical representation of the building’s floor plan for an overall view with various functions and detailed reports.
